The whole of last week passed in a quick surreal blur. Like an out-of-body experience. Maybe cause my mind wasn't physically in my head..
Anyhow, pictures and more pictures.
That's the best way I can convey my mundane yet comforting life without driving myself crazy, thinking about what to say.
Isaiah and Issac
Now that he can crawl, it's really a challenge looking after him. The moment you put him down on the floor, he heads straight for the stairs and proceeds to climb up all the way to the third level.
Just half and hour with them both was enough to make me pant! I guess full-time moms work out like that, following their cheeky kiddies everywhere.
And the oh-so-gorgeous Issac! Man, turning into a real heart-throb as the seconds go by!
Meh, always a joy to have them over. Puts a smile on my face playing with them, while immersing myself in their innocence.
O.o there's a vid of Isaiah dancing to his pre-school performance music at the end! So adorable!
Suki Sushi- The before and after
Dinner with me girlies.
But first, while we were waiting for the rest.
Photos!
I see they are very busy.
But we always take time out to have a 'lil fun.
We had like a gazillion pics taken, because we put on the 'smile shutter' on Lady Noble Brown and just let the her do all the work. (see, everytime she detects a smile from anyone in the frame, she captures)
"Oh no, you didn't!"
Heh, look at baby checking my booty out! And Jo strippin' down! O.O
BFF~
I butted in.
"Get the *beep* out of my face!"
According to Mandy, this sign language means that in certain countries..
Then qin arrives. Smiling for Lady Brown ensues.
We were covering our mouths so that she won't capture us... But one smile from Jo and.. *click* *flash flash*
I dare say this is the only decent one that we had, from the entire pile.
I don't get this.. no one is smiling leh.
Candid moment!!
How I wish I knew where the paint of mackie is hidden.. I don't know how to create speech bubbles with mackie!
When I grow up~ I wanna be famous, I wanna be a star, I wanna be in Movies~
When I grow up~ I wanna see the world, drive nice cars, be a playboy bunny~
Headed off to Punggol Plaza, for the cheap and good Suki Sushi.
99 cents/plate.. how not to be tempted. By then, we were all starving. So we went ahead to ravage the conveyer belt without wy first.
Eh heh.. They're in bliss!
She likes her ice lemon tea.
Another candid!
Don't you just want to box his face in?
Til the next dinner!
Reunion of the Nonsense Gang. And fam.
Last Saturday, 'the nonsense gang' and family came over for a night of mahjong. Finally, after about 3 months of not gathering.
See, my dad and his 3 other poly classmates are so tight that they keep in touch even after 30+ years! Their bond brought all 4 families together.
When we were all kids, we use to gather every weekend. While the adults played mj, we kids played house or various ball games together. You could call us childhood friends. Oh, how I reminisce those days.
These days, we are all grown up. So we proceed on to playing the games adult play.
Mahjong! And loads of crap at the same time.
Dexter's shirt matches our tiles!
Glorious sunset!
Playing Mj under the open skies with them can't get any better.
Next afternoon, it was off to 'Li Bai' for dimsum dinner with the clan. Unfortch, the Tay family couldn't join us. If not, it'll really be a reunion of all 16 of us!
The parents.
The kids.
Mandy!! She's the cutest non-baby I know! Her mannerism and way of speech, is so adorable! I just melt inside whenever I talk to her.
Michelle and Melanie. Heh.. we're 'hao jie mei-s' okays!!
(notice the unclear pics. Taken by a commando with very shaky hands.)
After we billed our lunch, the parents (not the children!) suggested that we go upstairs to the hotel lobby to take pictures!
Ah ha... daddy! I think he's really enjoying the company of his good ol' buddies. Meh, I hope that I can keep such friendships for so long too.
The Kids. (again) The moms and dads. (again)
The Ng family.
The other Ng family.
The Neo family.
Them guys.
Them gals.
BFF!
haha!! The thought gives me an overwhelming warmth in my heart though.
Can't wait for the weekend break with them next feb. Maybe I'll do a post comparing the then and now pics!!
Shoes Shoes Shoes!
Last week alone, the family purchased 13 pairs of shoes!!
No, we're not mad. Just good bargains all at the same time.
One for each of us. (daddy collected these shoes with his points from the army)
Heh, family identity!
My purchases at Charles and Keith warehouse sales.
Though they weren't the leather ones that I wanted, these suede ones are fine too! Comfy to boot!
The rest of the shoes are contributed by mommy and becky who bought 2 pairs each.
My weakness for shoes shall never die!!
Marche/Karaoke
This was 2 weeks ago, when qin's uni friends very kindy invited me to join them for dinner at marche. And it was my virgin trip!
I say, the food there is to die for. Especially their rosti and sausage. A tad ex, though.
After which, it was karaoke session at Victor's house!
It was ultimate cool-ness. They had, installed in their home theatre system, a karaoke system! So it was like singing at K-box or smth.. ( I wouldn't know, never actually been to one of those outlets), where you key in your songs through the remote!
