Zen got inked!
Met up with qin earlier in the morning to get her laptop and mine fixed. Bah..cost $74.90 just for consultation fee! They call it diagnostic.
Anyway..back to zen. Yes, met up with her and her 2 other friends, veronica and donna. I was super excited. Yeah, weird, also not me getting it. I guess zen was already used to her nerves flying all around for the past 2 weeks.
Yup, and the artiste is really arty farty in an unconventional way. I mean, he really believes in what he do and loves it. The world is really made up of so many different characters and it amazes me how completely different individuals can gel so well.
Right, after chatting and getting to know each other for about 90 mins..heh..yeah, we talk so much and haven't got down to tattooing zen's back.

Shaving her back..

I have no idea why have to apply deodrant..oh oh..! To prevent her back from perspiring so that the ink can be absorbed propoerly..

Stencil on. At first we thought it was a bit to the left..but after discussing the stroke and all, it is pretty much very centred. Oh, that's her name in Korean.

His operating equipments..looks more like weapons. Veronica was saying these stuff looked more scary than delivery, as in labour/giving birth, tools.

First line to be drawn..See that stuff giraffe zen is embracing?? She needed something to brace her.

Ta-Dah! She said she didn't feel a thing. Cheh..thought it would be hurting so badly.

Meticulously drawing the outline

Outline done in a surprisingly fast time.

Filling in the spaces. I really like that Gary, the artiste, convinced zen to go with thick bold lines. It turned out really good.

Touching up

There..done!

Pretty..!

She loves it!
Til the next episode of Lowland Ink! (it's called lowland ink because the shop is situated at lowland road, just outside my house!)
