BRITNEY IS COMING TO PERTH!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the best news heard on a birthday ever!! Who wants to go with me?! Next sem next sem.. Shat, is it going to be during exams? nov 6..
It's right in the middle of exams! Please don't let me get saturday paper.. please don't let me get saturday paper!
Was a different birthday this year. I quite like it.. just a quiet day with me myself and I. Glad SCPC is over now. Thank you all for all the birthday wishes and encouragement for the morning paper. Haz! Thanks for convincing me to take the bus! Heh, if not would have rushed like mad.
Off to bed.

Grinning

... like an idiot~ *Beams Beams*
Well, what did I find when I went down for a toilet break just 5 minutes ago?
In my pigeon hole, a brown A5 envelope with my name splayed across! With a teeny inscription on the envelope flap- Blk ___ Edgefield Plains ... Singapore
I picked it up with an incredulous stare.. then a widespread grin, that's still on as I type.
As I raced up, back to the resource room, an insatiable joy shoot through my entire being. I still couldn't put the grin away. And when I carefully sliced the envelope open to find a wonderfully lovely handmade card, plus an aww-so-sweet message, the grin got wider still.
Really unexpected!
Thanks, love.. really made my day. Just when I thought I couldn't possibly carry on with any more analysis of Donnie Darko, The Reader, Running in the Family.. (Stupid, but becoming increasingly interesting as I revise for tomorrow) Minority Report, this boost of encouragement and delight just snap me back into perspective.
Cannot cannot wait for to spend my break at Tioman with the gang! Especially my babyjeen! (JY, she's mine for 3 days/2 nights!) Haha.. Shall stop now lest all of you start barfing.
Also had an absolutely awesome time celebrating with the Southern Sevens on Saturday at Kido. Japanese cruisine! So long since I last had sashimi! (cannot believe I'm the only one who like tuna sashimi..)
It was a lovely surprise, I must add. I did suspect a tad, if the dinner was to celebrate my 20th. But I put that thought out when Noe implied that it was the celebrate the start of exams, a break from all the studies this past week. And not until huiren said,"Since it's your birthday, I shall not call you slow!" that I realized! Heh..
I really enjoyed myself. Thanks guys! You all made living in Perth so much more colourful and enjoyable. (*thinks back to mid-sem period, when a lil bit of homesickness made its way into my otherwise indifferent mind) And glad we've already started to make plans to meet up and treat our bellies to local delicacies!
Will post pictures up after tomorrow's paper. Hope that goes well. It's that sort of feeling I'm having now. Like, I can't do much about it anymore.. because have went through umpteen times, but still afraid that there's more to be covered.
Meh.

Come Now, my Friends!
Thursday, June 04, 2009
I feel strangely at peace and very relaxed, just a day before the first paper.
Hmm, I wonder why that is? Well, I know exactly why. And I thank everyone for praying! Heh..
Revision has been going surprising well, I must add. It's hard to believe that I have that much focus. Feels like 'A's all over again. I do like the process of revising. Taking the paper is another matter. But nevermind, will worry about that later.
Combine Cell
So last friday was combine cell. And we certainly had a blast. Getting together with everyone else and performing for our cell leaders. So many LOL moments and unglam pictures. Made my day. No, made my whole weekend! Saturday's service was especially powerful. (don't know what's in Ps Joyce that speaks so much to me) And Sunday's Ministry + Global Prayer unexpectedly great. Meh. Whelps.. the time spent over the weekend did spur me on to concentrate and really spend my time wisely for this week.
So anyway, Combine Cell at Hackett Hall.
Originally a cafe, now (after some rearrangement) an open area for us to have fun!
As always, food!
The must-have for every cell.
We're all deck out in Black coats and blue jeans. Ha, cell identity.
Testing the strength of the leaders.
Haha! Josh was ultimate!!
.. And the wits. Oh, Peter won hands down.
And then after all the performance and worship.. Ehly-time!
Our dear Allison aka. Ehly.
Jene! Who's here for a month to give emotional support to Isaiah. Awww... How sweet is that?? Really really great knowing you. Always so bubbly and giving hugs!
Meh, a precious source of strength and support. Never fail to give encouragement or a simple smile whenever I need it. Thank you, Ehly-Cellie!
Lucus, awesome worship man. Will always remember you and your 'wife'. (ie. guitar) Accidently kick the case and that's it man. He'll let us have it. nah, kidding, Lucus, you're a nice guy!
Jiali! And all your fruits! Haha, of course not forgetting your delish home-cooked soups. (Check out Ehly's fierce-ness, man.)
Khang Wee!
Awesome chef. Seriously, his steam fish and chicken. THE BOMB!
The youngest.. Jon. The crappy one.
What kind of weird expression you giving?!
Glen. The crappier one! There's a reason why they are housemates.
Talk to you don't know when to believe and when not to.
June!
Heh, will always remember the chee chong fan that you brought for 'breakfast/PJs' cell! Was just what we all needed.
Sam the wise.
Always says the most unexpected things. Like when we think he's about to say something intelligent, he starts crapping. And vice versa
Isaiah.
The essential assistant for Ehly. Efficient and effective.
Peace out! See you guys next sem!
And what considerate guys our RA (residential Advisors) are..
We found refreshments aplenty at our doors on monday morning!
Gummys, lollies and mints!
Red Bull, instant noodles and chips!
Kay, back to studies!
Appreciate you guys man. Great study buddies. And are crapping and listening to Michael Jackson as I type.
A little more than a week left!
